Persians have to be groomed once a week at least but, more frequent would be much better because, as I stated earlier in this post that the long hair on Persian cat hair gets matted very quickly and therefore, you have put up with hairballs that become fatal.
Your Persian can live a long live up to 15 years that is if do all things necessary to provide for your Persian. By keeping them indoors safe from outdoor germs and parasites can be helpful but, giving them good nutrition, keeping them groomed regularly (daily), keeping from them being completely alone because, they are not fully independent and need companionship.
Persians do best with a trusted companion at their side because, they don't do good by their self so, it really does not matter if it is a human or another pet in the home they don`t like be left totally alone.
The Himalayan Is At The Top Class Breed Of All Persians
The Himalayan is the top class breed of all Persians and was created by cross breeding the Siamese with the Persian to help assist to bring in point coloring from Siamese and Persian making inter combination of the two. The cross breeding went on for several years and ended up with being accepted as a colored variation of the Persian breed. The true Himalayan has deep vivid blue eyes that are a distinct characteristic of this breed.
